Section X. RAIN OUT NOTIFICATION
These procedures will be used to notify coaches, parents, and referees when games are canceled due to weather or field conditions:
A. FIELD ADMINISTRATOR - On days with questionable weather, the Field Administrator will assess field conditions and determine whether the day's games will be canceled. Upon making the decision to cancel games, the Field Administrator will contact the Game and Field Scheduler, and Referee Rescheduler between 7:00 and 7:30 A.M. for morning games and between 11:00 and 11:30 A.M. for afternoon games (between 10:00 and 10:30 A.M. for Sunday afternoon games). The Field Administrator will record a message describing the rain out on the automatic answering machine.
B. GAME AND FIELD SCHEDULER - The Game and Field Scheduler will contact the local radio stations. These stations will broadcast the cancellation notice.
C. REFEREE RESCHEDULER - The Referee Rescheduler will notify referees of game cancellations.
D. LEAGUE COMMISSIONERS - League Commissioners will contact WCSC (333-2228) after 7:30 A.M. for a general rain out announcement. If the day's games are rained out, the Commissioners will inform their coaches by 8:00 A.M.
E. COACHES - Coaches playing teams traveling to Bartlesville are to notify the coach of the traveling team of game cancellations.
