Section XI. RESCHEDULING PROCEDURES
Rescheduling of games is discouraged and should be used as a last option. When rescheduling
is necessary, coaches should refer to the most recent edition of the GCSA's Bylaws
and Revised Standing Resolutions (Green Book).
Games may be postponed with the mutual consent of both coaches and with the permission of the League Commissioner provided a minimum of 72 hours notice is given to the Referee Rescheduler.
For Games with less than 72 notice see Section V Miscellaneous D item 5
To reschedule a game, the coach coordinating the reschedule (generally, the
home coach) will:
1. Inform the Referee Rescheduler that the original game will not be played (so that
the referee(s) may be informed of the canceled game). Make sure you mention the date/time,
and the field location, of the original game. Please verify with the Referee Rescheduler
the date/time, and the field location of the original game.
If you already know when you want to reschedule your game, notify the Referee Rescheduler
at this time, otherwise you will need to contact him or her when that date and time,
and field location, are known.
2. Inform the League Commissioner of the rescheduled game.
Responsibility of field preparation is independent of rescheduled games. See Section VIII, I, of the WCSC Standing
Resolutions.
